James Angell, CPA
Jim began his public accounting career in 1972 working for Deloitte, Haskins and Sills in San Francisco. After receiving his Certified Public Accountant’s licence, Jim worked for many years as a controller for multi-national firms. This experience allowed him to learn all aspects of a business…from production of products to sales and marketing.
After increasing his experience by founding his own firm, Jim followed his desire to live in a rural area. Honoring his love for a more simple and rural life, Jim moved to Willits in 1988. His interest in forest management has provided countless hours of enjoyment as he works on his track of redwood land. As a life-long supporter of service to his community, Jim has served on the Mendocino College Foundation Board, The Rotary Club, and the boards of numerous other non-profits.

Mark Blumenfeld, CPA
Mark has been working in public accounting since 2005 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2010. He specializes in financial reporting, taxation and consulting with an emphasis on serving small and mid-sized companies. Prior to joining this firm, Mark worked for a regional CPA firm based in San Francisco where he was a Senior Consultant in Audit and the Assurance Department. Mark also has co-founded a Silicon Valley based start-up company which received national recognition in the media in 2012.
Mark graduated from Humboldt State University with Cum Laude honors in Business Administration. Mark also earned a post graduate certificate in advance accounting proficiency from Santa Clara University. When not at the office, you might find Mark working on home improvement projects, spending time with his family or enjoying the various outdoor activities along the North Coast. Mark is a diehard Portland Trailblazer and Washington Redskins fan.
